Book #1 Project

‘’Clay Jensen doesn’t want anything to do with the tapes Hannah Baker made. Hannah is dead. Her secret should be buried with her.” Are YOU the #1 fan? Do you want to hear his side of the story from Clay Jensen himself? We are offering you a one of a kind, chance of a lifetime to meet with the “main” person responsible for the death of high school student Hannah baker in the book Thirteen Reasons why by Jay Asher. To see the   main reason Hannah baker would take her own life live in person, he defends himself, is it the truth Hannah says? Or, did she twist his words and manipulate him to ruin his reputation for the rest of his life, getting through to the real Hannah but in a way through clay Jensen. Getting to know everything that went on with Hannah as to why would she use tapes as goodbyes for the world to see? How long she planned it? Find out anything by asking him yourself! A way of black mail to the people she hated most and threats the reputation they have built for themselves. This is a chance you don’t want to miss or you’ll regret it forever, a chance for your book to come to life.

“That’s me. Nice Guy Clay.” The line in the book that inspired the whole idea to get his half of the story in a live question and answering session, he sounds so annoyed with everyone and no one gives him the chance to explain himself, and he always holds back from doing what he really wants to do with himself  so why not come to meet him and help tie the story to a close because ending a book by “The last time some walked away from me I never saw them again… Two steps behind her I say her name.” is a reason to come get the closure of the story too see if he fixes things because he doesn’t want what happened with him and Hannah to happen again with Skye. And after hearing the innocence’s of clays actions people will understand him better and make the readers feel better while reading know that Hannah wasn’t dealing with a jerk but more of just a scared and nervous, guy. The chance of your life for all the fans  to meet the real clay himself is now don’t miss out on the thing of the lifetime.

  1. Interesting idea. Is this a one time meeting opportunity with an actor? I wonder if a book spin-off could work, too. Are parts of the book told from his point of view already? If so, is there a reason you think he doesn't address some of the questions you pose? I like your questions--they begin to peel back some interesting aspects of both characters.
