Book #1 Project

‘’Clay Jensen doesn’t want anything to do with the tapes Hannah Baker made. Hannah is dead. Her secret should be buried with her.” Are YOU the #1 fan? Do you want to hear his side of the story from Clay Jensen himself? We are offering you a one of a kind, chance of a lifetime to meet with the “main” person responsible for the death of high school student Hannah baker in the book Thirteen Reasons why by Jay Asher. To see the   main reason Hannah baker would take her own life live in person, he defends himself, is it the truth Hannah says? Or, did she twist his words and manipulate him to ruin his reputation for the rest of his life, getting through to the real Hannah but in a way through clay Jensen. Getting to know everything that went on with Hannah as to why would she use tapes as goodbyes for the world to see? How long she planned it? Find out anything by asking him yourself! A way of black mail to the people she hated most and threats the reputation they have built for themselves. This is a chance you don’t want to miss or you’ll regret it forever, a chance for your book to come to life.

“That’s me. Nice Guy Clay.” The line in the book that inspired the whole idea to get his half of the story in a live question and answering session, he sounds so annoyed with everyone and no one gives him the chance to explain himself, and he always holds back from doing what he really wants to do with himself  so why not come to meet him and help tie the story to a close because ending a book by “The last time some walked away from me I never saw them again… Two steps behind her I say her name.” is a reason to come get the closure of the story too see if he fixes things because he doesn’t want what happened with him and Hannah to happen again with Skye. And after hearing the innocence’s of clays actions people will understand him better and make the readers feel better while reading know that Hannah wasn’t dealing with a jerk but more of just a scared and nervous, guy. The chance of your life for all the fans  to meet the real clay himself is now don’t miss out on the thing of the lifetime.

Post #2 What is a book

A book is a piece of art it’s not just a piece of work because authors put to much work and effort into the writing when it’s just pages with random stuff that people can just download and read whenever they want. I think it’s better to have the book in hand; you flipping the pages feeling it go thicker in one hand as the space in the other goes down because you’re reading so much. That’s one thing that you can’t get when you have a book virtually you need it in hand with you actually there not just on the internet. Now a days everyone is attached to their phones computers anything, reading books is really the only thing people would do that didn’t involve a phone because where so worried about keeping up with what’s going on there rather than  what’s happening  right in front of us. Book symbolize for me being a child again, because whenever you have book it just makes you think of the time that when you were little and had the story time. It was the only thing that mattered was finding out what was happening at the end of the book nothing else. Lying in bed with a parent grandparent reading you the story in till you fall asleep. You can’t get that any more with all the young kids wanting something other than a story time it’s not the same when you read a book virtually. If we made it through story time with out it being on the computer i think everyone can and should really just exsperince chilling out with a good book in hand.

why I read #1

I read to help escape the real world. It lets you be where you want to be, do what you want to do. In the space of your own home without even going anywhere you feel like you’re in a completely new world. It lets you do what you want not what others want because you chose the books that you want to read, so it’s going to be about what you want. Reading helps me deal with stress if there is ever a day when you get so stressed out you can just sit down with a good book and escape it all. Also reading is a way to not only help improve your actual reading skills but the better of a reader you are the better of a speller you are, which I need as much help as possible with too. Reading also is like a movie you watch in your head. With a good book that I like to the point of not wanting to put it down, then as you read you pay attention to every detail so you know just what the characters are doing and what they look, and how they act like which is my favorite part, because then you can visualize everything that is happening. These are my favorite things of reading and why I read.
