post #5 Book to a movie.
To make the
book Extremely loud and incredibly close
into a movie I think they might have a difficult time trying to take the writing and
trying to figure out who is saying what because in the book that I what I think is the hardest part
to see who is taking when. Also I think it would be hard to portray how the mom
and son get through their grief. I also
think they would have to change the mom character because she leaves her young
son when she always go off to work also I feel like she kind of in a way
neglects Oskar. They would have to change how she deals with things I think to
better fit her in the movie.

Some things I
think that would need to be changed for the movie to be better would be by
taking out a character and shortening some of the things that are very descriptive
in the book. For the character I think you need to take out would be the grandma.
I think she could get taken out and the
story would still make sense even though Oskar does care for her I think it
would just take up more time in the movie and it may even confuse some people. The
things that are descriptive and could be shortened for the film is when Oskar
goes out the first time looking for the box to the key that he found, I personally
think that it went into to much description of him at central park looking
around for it. So to better make the movie I feel as if you should remove those
two things.

Post #3 book #1 review so far.
The book The Thirteen
Reasons Why By: Jay Asher is a book that keeps you on your toes. You never know
what to expect but, with that comes lots of confusing parts and you never
really know who is talking. Also you don’t really understand when its people
talking or if its Hannah’s voice playing on her tape. When reading it’s a different
writing style then I have ever read it is very cool to see how it all connects
together and feeling like you feel what the others feel when they receive the
tapes and figure out that they were a
reason for someone’s death. Even though the book is confusing at times it’s a really
good story with things that keep you guessing.
